When it does, moving the King to a vacant column should be given a high priority. It's the only rank that cannot be moved onto another rank. They can often cause problems because if one is at the bottom of a column, no cards can be moved to that column. The Ace has the distinction that it is the only card onto which another rank cannot be placed by the player.If possible, find a combination of moves that, when played, will result in something useful, such as turning a hidden card or vacating a column. Before making a move, look over the current game state to see what else might be available. Simply playing the most obvious move may not the best strategy.
